How to create a website on Google Site

Google site is a website creation tool provided by Google that allows users to easily create and share websites without require any prior coding knowledge.  It offers a simple drag-and-drop interface, making it accessible for users of all skill levels. Google Sites is often used for creating internal company websites, project sites, personal portfolios, and collaborative websites for teams. It integrates seamlessly with other Google services such as Google Drive, Google Docs, and Google Calendar, enabling users to embed content and collaborate in real-time.




By following these steps, you can easily create a website or portfolio on Google Site:

1. Sign in to Google: Go to the Google Sites homepage (sites.google.com) and sign in with your Google account. If you don't have one, you'll need to create it.

2. Start a new site: Once you're signed in, click on the “+” icon to create a new site. You'll be prompted to choose a template or start from a blank page.

3. Select a template (optional): Google Sites offers various templates to help you get started quickly. You can select a template that suits the purpose of your website, such as portfolio, project site, or classroom. 4. Name your site: Give your site a name. This will be the title that appears at the top of your website. 5. Customize your site: Once your site is created, you can customize it to your liking. Click on the “Edit” button to start editing your site. You can add text, images, videos, links, and other elements using the toolbar and drag-and-drop interface. 6. Add pages: To add pages to your site, click on the “+” icon in the sidebar and select the type of page you want to add (web page, announcement, file cabinet, etc.). You can organize your pages into a hierarchy by nesting them under each other. 7. Publish your site: Once you're done editing your site, click on the “Publish” button to make it live on the web. You can decide to publish it publicly or restrict access to specific people or groups. 8. Customize settings (optional): You can customize various settings for your site, such as its theme, sharing settings, and search engine visibility, by clicking on the settings gear icon in the top right corner.
That's it! Your Google Site is now up and running. You can continue to edit and update it whenever you like by signing in to Google Sites with your Google account.
